We collaborate with non-profits around the valley, including the Department of Health and Welfare, to identify individuals and families in need of support and connection. Each referral is personally contacted to understand their story and needs. From there, we actively recruit mentors, who are vetted and trained, to create meaningful relationships with their mentees.

2. Supporting the Mentor/Mentee Relationship

We provide ongoing support to mentors and mentees through:

Monthly Resources: Including newsletters, tips, and community resource guides to sustain and strengthen relationships.
Quarterly Workshops: Expert-led sessions to address practical needs like trauma-informed care, organization, finances, and more.
Regular Check-Ins: Ensuring mentors have the tools they need and that mentees are receiving impactful support.

3. Amplifying Awareness and Building Community

Your donations help us raise awareness about our mission and services by supporting:

Social Media Marketing: Sharing stories, successes, and opportunities to connect with our work and build momentum in the community.
Community Presentations: Speaking at public meetings, churches, businesses, and events across the Treasure Valley to recruit mentors and ensure families know where to turn for support.

Annual Mentor/Mentee Gala Event: An evening event to celebrate relationships and hear from inspiring speakers.
