Many of our mentors will be matched with parents who are currently working with the Department of Health and Welfare, either to prevent the removal of their children from the home, or to reunify children with their parents. It will be important that you understand basic terms and definitions so that you are familiar with Child Protective Case procedures and have an idea of what to expect.
