How is your family mentee doing?
She is very busy with her children, her job, and helping her dad who is on dialysis. Her truck broke down for a while too. And she is pregnant to boot!
What are their needs?
More time to herself, opportunities to be creative, and other moms to hang out with.
What skills do they need to develop?
Decision making, financial planning, standing up for herself.
What changes are they trying to make?
I am not sure she has had time to try to make any changes
What concerns do you have?
We have only spoken on the phone and texted. I am not sure that she would reach out to me if she needed ideas or assistance.
What community resources/classes would be most beneficial to them?
Some sort of mom-to-mom class with other women her age.
